Accessing Tax Forms and Other Financial Documents

You can download financial documents like your annual 1099-NEC from your zeel.com account (currently this cannot be accessed through the app).

  1. Log into your account at zeel.com using the same email and password you use in the Provider App

  2. Go to Manage Provider Account under "Hi, [your name]," then to Payment History

  3. There you’ll see three items you can view: 

    • Weekly payments

    • Earnings verification letter

    • 1099s (with a link for each individual tax year’s 1099)

Note that if you earn anything less than $600 from Zeel in a calendar year (January 1st – December 31st), you will not receive a 1099 for that tax year. We will send an email notification to the entire provider network in January when 1099s have been posted to providers’ accounts.

Also remember that, since you are an independent contractor, we are required to keep an up-to-date form W-9 on file for you. We collect your W-9 during initial onboarding, but if your name, address, social security number, or EIN changes, you must send us an updated W-9!

Updating Your Tax Information

You can update your tax information, such as business type, address, or identification number, in the Provider App. From the main menu, go to My ProfileEdit Tax Information.
