Checking In and Out of Appointments

Checking into and out of appointments is essential for us confirming that an appointment has taken place and distributing payment for it—and it all takes place in the app.

Checking In to an Appointment

When you arrive at an appointment and are ready to work, tap the Start Appointment button at the bottom of the Appointment Details screen. This will check you in.

At the beginning of certain medical appointments, you may be asked to complete a patient evaluation before you are fully checked in and able to begin treatment. Some evaluations may take as long as 30 minutes, which is included in the duration of the appointment. The app will guide you through any necessary steps.

Checking out of an Appointment

When you have completed the treatment, tap Check Out. You'll then be shown your earnings for this session. Depending on the location and type of appointment, you may be able to request parking reimbursement during this process. 

Be sure to tap Charge to complete the appointment, which triggers processing of the client’s payment (note that this does not trigger a payment distribution to you). After checking out, you may also be asked to provide feedback about the session. 

If you have any issues checking into or out of an appointment, chat directly with the Zeel Provider Support team by opening the side menu and tapping Chat.

Once you’ve checked out of the appointment, if you’re still with the client, you may suggest scheduling their next appointment, which you can do together in the app.
