Office-Based Appointments

As part of Zeel’s medical massage program, we are including some out-of-home facilities for use when treating Veterans in some locations. For occasions when an in-home massage isn’t the right fit, a professional treatment environment offers flexibility for therapist and patient.

Office-based appointments can be booked on the Zeel platform just like in-home appointments and are protected by the same benefits of our Trust & Safety and Provider Support teams.

Note that office-based massage is currently available for VA healthcare subscribers in select locations. This service is not available to the general public. 

Overview of Treatment Space Requirements

Zeel believes in making therapies like massage safe and accessible for everyone. Our facility policies are designed to ensure a worry-free experience for every patient and provider. Requirements for out-of-home facilities for Zeel appointments include (but are not limited to):

  • Well-ventilated, temperature-controlled patient rooms and waiting areas

  • Adequate dressing, personal storage, and bathroom facilities must be available to patients

  • All areas must be wheelchair accessible, including lavatories, in accordance with ADA recommendations

  • Adherence to all local and state fire codes, health & sanitation codes, building codes, and relevant facility management regulations, including display of appropriate business license(s)

  • Company or facility must maintain a sanitation/hygiene policy that includes equipment cleaning between patients, laundering and storage of soiled linens, daily trash removal, and pest control.

  • Company or facility must adhere to a non-discrimination policy

If you are credentialed to take medical appointments and have your own treatment space in a healthcare office, studio, or spa, you may be able to take Zeel appointments in it. Contact Provider Support via in-app chat or at help@zeel.com to learn more.

Already Rostered for Office-Based Appointments?

Please note that office-based referrals are assigned directly to therapists by the Veteran’s VA care team, not by Zeel. If you receive confirmation of an in-office appointment or patient you can’t commit to, please inform Zeel right away, so we can assist with reassignment of the referral.
