Payment for Zeel Spa Appointments

Zeel Spa appointments are typically paid on a per-minute rate for hands-on time, which may vary by spa. Payment for Zeel Spa is always handled by Zeel—NOT the spa—and is disbursed weekly, along with pay for other Zeel appointments. 

Always refer to the appointment details in the app for information regarding rates or minimum guarantees. Do not discuss your compensation with the spa manager; your payment is not their responsibility or decision.

Payment for a Zeel Spa appointment or block is calculated based on two factors (you will receive the higher of the two):

  1. Rate per minute of hands-on time, plus tip

  2. Guaranteed minimum payment, plus any tips earned for completed treatments

Note that the guaranteed minimum is not what Zeel expects you to earn; it is a safeguard for your time in the event that a spa books a provider for a block of time but doesn’t fill all the appointment slots in that time. Even if no massages are performed in that time, the provider would still receive the guaranteed minimum payment.

Tips and Gratuities

Any tip added by a client via credit card will be reported to Zeel by the spa and added to your Zeel payment. You may discreetly ask the Front Desk if you have cash tips at the end of your shift.
