Session Guidelines for Zeel Providers

Session Length & Client Expectations

• Hands-on time means that a 60-minute appointment includes 60 minutes of massage—not 50 minutes of work with 10 minutes of setup.

• Clients expect to receive the modality they booked, which can be found in the appointment details (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, or Zeel’s signature sleep massage).

• Check in with the client at least twice during the session (supine and prone) to ensure:

  • Comfortable pressure level

  • Room temperature is adequate

  • Overall satisfaction

• Avoid using your phone during a session.

Draping Guidelines

✅ Always use modest and professional draping to ensure client comfort and maintain professionalism.
✅ Only the part of the body being worked on should be exposed.
✅ Make sure the client feels the boundaries of the sheet—use a towel or blanket to weigh it down if necessary.
✅ Clients are expected to provide their own linens, but it's good practice to carry a clean set in case they are unprepared.

Session Extensions

• Extensions can be added in 15- or 30-minute increments if you are available.

• Always inform the client that adding time will incur additional charges.

• All extensions must be processed through the Zeel app—accepting cash for an off-platform extension is prohibited and can jeopardize your relationship with Zeel.
