Suggesting an Alternate Time

If you get an appointment request that doesn't quite fit your schedule, you can suggest an alternate time within a few hours of the client’s original request for them to consider. It only takes a few seconds and is a great way to avoid missing out on opportunities and earnings.

How to Suggest an Alternate Appointment Time

  • In the Reply to Request drawer, tap the edit button next to the hours. The client’s requested start time range will be selected by default.

  • Scroll the left wheel to indicate the earliest time you can start this appointment. Scroll the right wheel to select the latest time you can start the appointment. You can select +/- 2 hours from the requested start time.

  • Keep in mind that this is the time window for starting the appointment only—not the start and end time.

  • Once you reply with alternate times, these options will be offered to the customer, unless another provider is available within the originally-requested time range.

Note that if you suggest an alternate time for medical appointment requests, you may see a different interface altogether. In these instances, you can suggest multiple time windows on the same day, as well as times on surrounding days.
