Timing and Arrival

It’s essential that you thoroughly review all the appointment details and notes in a Zeel Spa request for any unique details on parking, grooming standards, and orientation requirements. Plan to arrive at a spa at least 30 minutes prior to your first appointment. This will give you sufficient time to set the room, get your schedule, and prepare. Remember: the start time of an appointment always means hands-on time.

Here are some key factors that may impact your timing, for which you should always be prepared:

  • You experience unexpected traffic delays or get lost on your way to the spa

  • You may need extra time to find parking

  • You may need to check out a uniform from housekeeping

  • You may need to do a room audit, and report/replace any missing items in your treatment room, before you begin massages for the day

Here are a few additional tips for making sure your schedule is smooth and stress-free:

  • Request to see your entire schedule for the time you’re scheduled to be there. This will help you plan for your break time(s) and stay fresh and energized throughout your shift.

  • If a guest is running late, try to give them as much time as you can and not make them feel badly about it. Having a handle on what your schedule looks like after their treatment will help you avoid a ripple effect or delays.

  • If the guest asks to extend treatment time, politely excuse yourself and confirm with the desk that your schedule allows for this.
